Sooo, as many of you know by now, I am having an LDR 😛
It’s quite difficult to keep up but indeed, if there’s a will, there’s a way! Fortunately, Laurie has been visiting Asia quite often lately because of their projects, and he would always find time to stop by Singapore just to see me. And as of this date, I have returned to Dubai twice already — things you’ll do for love ^.^
These 2 visits were more than dune bashing, hummus and shisha! This time around, I drove a car again after 4 long years! (but at the desert and i almost hit a camel :P), drank camel milk (ulk!) and arabian coffee with ginger (really good!), rode a midnight ATV, watched eye popping sports car at Jumeirah Beach Residences, cheering for England’s rugby team cluelessly, and illegal parking at The Atlantis 😀

I went to see other parts of UAE, like Al Ain, Ras Al Khaimah, Al Sharjah and even went to Hatta, Oman for few hours just to eat a monster-like salty lobster at Hatta Fort Hotel hahaha! Laurie’s sister had to do a visa run that’s why we had to drive to Oman and come back to UAE after passport stamping hehe.
Laurie actually gave me 12 days of Christmas that includes the countdown dinner at Dubai Wafi, elevenses (brunch) at Burj Al Arab, getting bored at the top of Burj Khalifa, boating along Dubai Creek and Souk, 6 Strings Strumming, 9 Laurie’s Dancing,… down to 12 potato wedges 😛
But the best gift i received from him was meeting his mum and sister! They are so wonderful and I miss them dearly ♥
