The Man Who Sold The World – Nirvana

I dreamt of Kurt Cobain the night before his death. I feel so special, he had a premonition with me! Lol! :D

Seriously, I dreamt of him rescuing me from a quicksand of “kaning baboy” (pigs’ food), he reached out his hand to me, I didn’t know it was him at first because there was a bright light behind him so I couldn’t see his face, but I saw an electric guitar dangling on his back while he helped me up. When I finally recognized him, he said hello in Filipino language hahaha! Then he left after I said thank you. The next day, I heard on the radio that he passed away, I thought it was a hoax, when I realized it was true, I had goosebumps all over :O

Nirvana paved the way for alternative bands in the 90’s. When “Smells Like Teen Spirit” was a successful hit, Nirvana became the voice of our generation. The “grunge” sound or too much distortions and growling, was suddenly widely accepted in the mainstream. My mum will always tell me why do I listen to “noise”, but then I just tell her that, it was the right kind of noise ;)
